As our practice continues to grow and evolve and as staff either move on, retire or whatever, we have a need to regularly review our staffing structure in the light of current workload and client demand.

WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING STAFF VACANCIES.
1. We may shortly (2010) require the services of a Legal Executive who has a minimum of 3 years PA experience and who can autonomously handle conveyancing, commercial, wills and estates, and perhaps some trust files. We are looking for that "special" someone who has the"x" factor and who genuinely enjoys dealing with people. You will have the opportunity of working with a highly experienced practitioner who can offer career development and encouragement in a number of disciplines as well as having the opportunity of expanding your boundaries.
You will be expected to "hit the ground running" and be largely autonomous in your handling of files. You will need to embrace the concept of client development and the promotion of our firm. We have an excellent and friendly working environment with a team that truly enjoys working together.
2. We currently have a position for a Solicitor to join our team. The work emphasis is mainly commercial and property but also potentially involves a wide range of other areas including trusts and estate planning, relationship property, employment, etc. The mix would depend on the interests and aptitude of the successful candidate. Someone with expertise or interest in employment and/or mediation/ADR would be particularly welcome. This is not an junior position as you would be required to work unsupervised for much of the time (although you will have access to support and assistance where required). We envisage a self-starter who really wants to make a difference and to create a niche in private practice with all of the demands and rewards that a long established and productive general practice has to offer. It is likely that you will already have a client following and you will be cognisant of the fact that you need to market yourself and the firm and that this is an essential and ongoing part of modern legal practice. You must be self motivated, determined and applied with a very high level of career focus. We envisage this position as being one where a successful applicant will quickly be assimilated into the practice and become an integral part of it within a fairly short time.
